Aromatase is an enzyme that converts testosterone into estrogen. Obviously to bodybuilders and male athletes this is not what we want as excess estrogen can cause water retention, fat storage and gyecomastia.

This enzyme is usually most pro-active after or during a cycle of pro hormones or anabolics as the increased levels of testosterone convert to estrogen via the bodies internal regulation process (homeostasis) through a process known as negative feedback.

ATD by chaparral labs is beneficial for on cycle or afterwards as PCT as it acts as an anti-estrogen and inhibits the enzyme aromatase. This means that it can indirectly increase free testosterone levels and alleviate the wet look associated with excess estrogen levels.
